video marketing

In light of the current COVID situation across the world, many companies are adopting remote work. Video marketing is on constant growth. This is not surprising since most of us prefer consuming video content.

Video marketing can help companies to not just stay in touch with their consumers but also educate and answer queries.

Following are 3 types of video content you can create at your home:-

  1. Demos/tutorials
  2. Explainer videos
  3. Expert Q/As

This is a product- or process-centered video content. You can show someone using your product in a home setting (How-To-Use videos). Animated videos are great to engage your audience. You could use screen-recorder software such as Screenflow.

For example, look at Maybelline’s Eyeshadow tutorial below.

You don’t need to have expensive pieces of equipment, lighting etc., for this kind of video. But make sure you have enough lighting so that the product is clearly visible.

If you offer digital services, you can show how clients benefit from your services. Have a look at this video by Design Pickle- they show you exactly how Design Pickle works and the 6 simple steps you take in their platform to make a great design request.

Explainer Videos-

Want to explain a complex strategy or concept? Use explainer videos. This is an excellent way of positioning yourself as an expert in this field. Either you, your company staff, influencer, or affiliates associated with your business can explain the concepts or strategies.

This kind of video need not be about your product specifically but any topic that revolves around the niche in which you are.

Filming explainer videos is not much of a hassle. You can have a plain background, or use some text and/or visuals while you explain/talk about the concept.

Expert Q&As-

In-house experts can answer questions via Instagram stories or they could address questions on a Facebook Live Q&A.

All you need is a smartphone. Below is an example of Dr. Caroline answering questions on Facebook live.
